Understanding Job Statuses

Job postings can exist in different states depending on where they are in the hiring process.

Statuses Explained:

• Draft – Jobs that are incomplete and not visible to the public. You can continue editing.

• Published – The job is live and accepting applications.

• Paused – Temporarily stops new applications while keeping the job visible on career pages.

• Expired – The posting has passed its set end date.

• Closed – A permanent action that cannot be reversed. Once closed, the job cannot be reopened. A warning will appear before you confirm this action.
