How to schedule interviews and what to expect

Coordinating interviews with candidates is integral to any hiring process, and we're here to make sure it's as smooth as can be.

1: Spotlight the Job you're creating interviews for

Access your Tech1M account and head into the job(s) you want to schedule interview for

2. Select the candidate(s):

Find the candidate you want to schedule an interview with from your list of shortlisted applicants and click on the "Schedule Interview" button.

3. Choose Interview Details

Specify the interview details, including date, time, and location (in-person or virtual). You can always add more time slots for the interview, but we advise you to create enough time slots for all the people you might want to interview. (N/B: Please note that the time-slots are not global and are created per job post.)

4. Send the invitation:

After filling in the interview details, click on "Confirm" to invite the candidate. The candidate will receive an email and notification with the interview details and a confirmation request. Note that after inviting candidates, they go to the "Pending" state on the "Interviews" tab.


Here's a quick briefing into what each stage under "interviews" means:

  • Pending: The candidate(s) has received an invite but has not accepted the interview request.

  • Upcoming: The candidate(s) has accepted the interview request for an approaching interview date

  • Completed: The interview date has passed

  • Rejected: The candidate(s) has declined the interview request. (N/B: We give candidates the ability to either reject or reschedule interviews upon receiving the request.)

For cases where you need more details about the talent, we've provided a messaging area to contact your candidates. It's right in the application modal, unlocked after you have sent your first interview request.

We send automatic alerts to your inbox at pre-set intervals, so you do not miss out on your interviews. (NB: Google/Outlook calendar sync will be available in following updates.)
